The Friends help to promote the Library and assist in the purchase of rare books and archives for the Library’s collections. The Friends Committee helps organise the Library’s programme of events. We represent the interests of the Library’s users, helping to determine the Library’s future direction.
Library events are an opportunity to meet like-minded people and offer insights into a broad range of topics. They offer an escape from the everyday world, often examining unusual or unprecedented design approaches and the work of exceptional practitioners of today and from the past.
If this sounds like your thing, why not join us? In recognition of a donation of at least £30 each year (£15 or more for students and OAPs), we will enrol you as an individual member of the Friends. You will be eligible for discounts on all of our events, and you will receive our newsletter, Printing History News, plus a copy of our fantastic new journal Ultrabold every six months. Corporate membership is also available.
