St Bride Library is not just about books; it is also about people. One of the delights of visiting the Library is that you never know who you are going to meet round its reading room table: a type designer working on a new fount; a print manager checking the latest legislation; someone scouring the job ads in one of the trade journals; students working on a project; or members of the London Press Club or Printing Historical Society gathering for a meeting.
We provide a rendezvous for anyone interested in the graphic and typographic arts. Located in the traditional heart of the printing and publishing industry, the Library is a place where anyone from home or abroad with either a professional or passing interest in print can meet and where all aspects of the cultural, practical and technical achievements of the industry can be studied.
